STEMBoard is proud to announce its participation in the U.S. Department of War’s SkillBridge Program, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building high-performing teams while creating meaningful pathways for transitioning military professionals.
As an approved SkillBridge industry partner, STEMBoard will host active-duty service members in the final months of their military service, providing them with hands-on experience in business development, operations, and technology-driven consulting. These individuals remain on active duty during the program, allowing them to gain real-world civilian experience while preparing for their next chapter.
For STEMBoard, this is more than a talent pipeline, it’s a natural extension of the company’s mission and values.
“Many of the qualities that define success in the military, discipline, accountability, leadership, and the ability to operate in complex environments are the same qualities that drive success in our work,” said Aisha Bowe, CEO of STEMBoard. “SkillBridge allows us to tap into that talent while also supporting individuals as they transition into the next phase of their careers.”
STEMBoard has long demonstrated a commitment to the military community. The company is a recipient of the HireVets Medallion Award and has built a workforce that includes a significant percentage of veterans. Participation in SkillBridge formalizes and expands that commitment by creating a structured pathway for service members to contribute to mission-driven work in a new capacity.
Through the program, participants will engage directly with STEMBoard teams, supporting initiatives across federal and commercial sectors. From contributing to proposal development and operational planning to supporting strategic growth efforts, SkillBridge participants will play an active role in the company’s day-to-day execution.
Importantly, the program is designed to be mutually beneficial. Service members gain exposure to industry, build professional networks, and develop new skills, while STEMBoard benefits from their experience leading teams, managing complex operations, and delivering results in high-stakes environments.
As STEMBoard continues to grow, the company sees SkillBridge as a key component of its long-term talent strategy.
