STEMBoard is pleased to announce that it has been appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®), reinforcing the company’s commitment to disciplined execution, quality delivery, and continuous improvement. The appraisal is valid from October 4, 2024 through October 4, 2027.
CMMI is a globally recognized framework for improving organizational performance and aligning operations to business objectives. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 (“Defined”) indicates that processes are well characterized, standardized, and consistently applied across the organization to achieve both project and organizational performance goals.
For STEMBoard, this appraisal reflects a deliberate investment in building scalable systems that support growth while maintaining high standards of execution particularly in support of complex federal and defense missions.
“CMMI Level 3 reflects how we operate as a company,” said Aisha Bowe, CEO of STEMBoard. “It’s about having the structure, discipline, and repeatability in place to deliver consistently while continuing to evolve as we grow.”
As a small business operating in highly competitive federal markets, achieving and maintaining a CMMI appraisal provides a clear advantage. It enables STEMBoard to compete for larger, more complex opportunities, while giving customers confidence in the company’s ability to deliver reliable, high-quality outcomes.
The appraisal also supports internal performance by reinforcing standardized processes, improving efficiency, and reducing variability across projects. These capabilities are critical as STEMBoard continues to scale its operations and expand its impact.
Beyond compliance, CMMI represents a long-term commitment to building a high-performing organization, one that is designed not only to win work, but to execute at a consistently high level.
